Meet Your Teacher
Hilary Jackendoff is a Los Angeles based Tantric meditation teacher, in the North Indian lineage of the Bihar School of Yoga. After completing an intensive, two-year ashram-based Teacher Training in New South Wales, Australia, Hilary moved to Los Angeles. She began teaching meditation full-time, blending her traditional ashram education with her Jersey sensibilities, committed to sharing ancient practices in an accessible, modern way. She is currently a Senior Teacher at The Den Meditation in Hancock Park, where she co-created the studio’s 400 hour Meditation Teacher Training, the first of its kind in Los Angeles. Hilary developed Sleep Class, her primary corporate wellness offering, based on the popular practice of Yoga Nidra, a beginner-friendly, but powerful deep relaxation meditation, beneficial in managing a range of conditions, from insomnia and anxiety to jet-lag and chronic fatigue. In addition to regular group classes at The Den Meditation, Hilary also offers private in-home sessions. Anxiety management, chakra balancing and Yoga Nidra sessions are among her offerings. In 2016, she co-founded Zen Test Prep, a holistic approach to combating test and performance anxiety.
